I was introduced to Todd and FGH by my girlfriend at the time, while living in Lake Hopatcong in the early 90's. We use to go see them live at least once a month. This band, their music, and their live shows remain one of my favorites today. I now live in S Carolina, but have continued to follow and listen to them. Great band, and a great bunch of guys! Thanks so much for the new music!
Favorite track: Lady Liberty.

Great to see Todd & the guys producing new FGH music!! Takes me back to the 90's seeing them at the Bayou & the 8x10, not to mention Waterloo! Looking forward to Friday's show, see you soon!
Over the course of 2018 the band found some time to get together in North Jersey to jam and ultimately write some new tunes. For about a week we'd plug in the coffee machine each morning, turn on the amps, tune up the drums and start messin' around. It felt like old times… like an old faucet turned on and lots of cool ideas came flowing out. We’re excited to release a brand new three song EP, Time And The River.
Thanks for all of the support over the years, we couldn’t do this without you. Enjoy the new music!

TALLAHASSEE TROUBLE
We were bound to drift apart with the passing of the seasons
But you never left my heart through the passing days
The last time that I saw you
We were high up in the mountains running wild
And if I had the chance to do it all gain
I would ride right down and drag you out of there
Take you by my side
Take you for a ride
Far away from your worries and your cares
And your Tallahassee troubles
We were bound to drift away form the home that we grew up in
But those good ol’, good ol’ days left a never-ending smile
And the last time that I saw you
You seemed good though there were many words left unsaid
And if I had the chance to do it all gain
I would ride right down and drag you out of there
Take you for a ride
Take you by my side
Far away from your worries and your cares
And your Tallahassee troubles
May the angels up on high take you to your peaceful rest, now
May the angles up on high carry you away
And in the sweet by and by
May I laugh with you again, my old friend
If I had the chance to do it all again
I would ride right down and drag you out of there
If I had the chance to do it all again
I would ride right down and drag you out of there
Take you by my side
Take you for a ride
Far away from your worries and your cares
And your Tallahassee troubles
If I had the chance to do it all again
I would ride right down and drag you out of there
SWEET SPOT
Find yourself a sweet spot and stay there for a while
Find yourself a sweet spot and ride it a country mile
Spread your sail high and wide
Catch the wind go for a ride
Feeling good feeling alright
In the pocket gonna ride it all night
Chorus
Spread your wings into the air
You can take it anywhere
Catch a wave let it flow
Set it free let yourself go
Chorus
Crosstown traffic holding me up
Driving me insane
Locking me up slowing me down, blocking up my lane
Making me wait, making me late, making me hate
This is ridiculous
Next time I’m gonna take the train
Chorus
Not too high or not too low
Not too fast or not too slow
A little loose and a little bit tight
In the pocket gonna ride it all night
Chorus
LADY LIBERTY
I was born in the valley
Of Pennsylvania’s hills
Where they ride by horse and buggy
And they plow a wooden till
To a home in the New World
Came these German and Swiss
Their yearning eyes on the simple prize
Of a life of peace
(Chorus)
Like a fire come down the mountain
The war drove them away
So they made their way for a better life in the USA
Like a fire come down the mountain
Trouble drove them to the sea
And they sailed away for the shinin’ light of Lady Liberty
I live an immigrant story
In an immigrant land
I play my immigrant Martin guitar
in an immigrant band
And what’s true for me
Is probably true for you
While the millions they came
Through the island gates on their passage through
Like a fire come down the mountain
Hard times drove them away
So they made their way for a better life in the USA
Like a fire come down the mountain
Trouble drove them to the sea
They sailed away for the burnin’ flame of Lady Liberty
I’ve come from a country
Torn with terror and strife
And I walk my children by the hand
For a brand new life
And what’s good for me
Is probably true for you
For a better life for your children
Anything you can do
Now I’m held at the border
Of the land of the free
I wait my days in an iron cage
Under lock and key
Like a fire come down the mountain
Hard times drove us away
So I led my children by the hand for the USA
Like a fire come down the mountain
They dragged them away from me
‘Neath the shadow light and watching eyes of Lady Liberty
‘Neath the watching eyes and the burnin’ flame of Lady Liberty
I was born in the valley
Of Pennsylvania’s hills
Where they ride by horse and buggy
And they plow a wooden till
